The Commonwealth Cultural Services (CCS) on behalf of Miss Commonwealth Pageant organizing Committee are pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2016 International Voluntary Humanitarian Environmental Services (IVHES) Awards.

The International Voluntary Humanitarian Environmental Services (IVHES) Awards scheme, now in its 5th year, was introduced by Miss Commonwealth (International pageant (a company limited by guarantee) for the recognition and global promotion of commendable endeavor.

International Voluntary Endeavor is ardently promoted by the pageant alongside the promotion of cultural awareness, exchange and heritage protection, education, philanthropy, social inclusion, poverty eradication, family values, children’s welfare, ladies’ sport, environmental protection, animal welfare, tourism, and fundraising for registered humanitarian and environmental charities and projects around the world in the interest aid of community Quality of Life improvement.

Past recipients include; Dr Nelson Mandela, Bill Gates, Amitabh Bachchan, Sir Philip Green, Dame Anita Lucia Roddick, DBE, Dr Clarissa Ben-Gam, Professor Princess Halliday among others.

Nominations will be accepted until October 31, 2017. This year’s winners will be announced on the Miss Commonwealth International website and will be invited to receive the award at the Commonwealth International Beauty Pageants event in London in November 2017.
